THE AMAZING STORY OF JACK AND DIEGO

Posted by bola (Sunday 13th April 2008)

A few months ago Jack Herrera (12 year old) died in lake LBJ from a rare virus that has killed 6 people last year (two in Austin). Jack said that he wanted to be remembered when he dies.

Diego González felt very touched by jacks wish. After seeing that, Diego decided to swim from LBJ Lake to the Congress Bridge (100 mile journey) only to contribute to Jack's wish and raise awareness about this life-threatening virus.

Diego is amazing your powerful intention!!! te felicito y admiro ampliamente maestro!!!

Saludos

Thank you for posting this story, I am amazed by the "Earththinking" idea, with sites like this people can connect, share and hear positive and inspiring thoughts.

At the moment, my friend John (who is blind) and I are getting ready to climb two of the tallest mountains in America, we are hoping that by doing this we can encourage people to be active and to achieve their goals. After we conquer Mt Hood and Mt Reiner we will embark in a 4000 mile trip where we will cycle across the US and Mexico. During the trip I will swim across the pacific from the tip of Baja California Sur MX to Mazatlan, when we reach Cancun I will swim from Canun to Key west florida. Hopefully we will get te right sponsorship and support to get to the goal.

Mil gracias por difundir el sueño de Jack Herrera......
